Our Staff

Our rigorous recruitment procedures ensure that we employ ideally suited candidates, personally interviewed by one of our trained consultants and thoroughly vetted to determine their skills and experience.

Our Management team is composed of Social Workes, Nurses and we have links with a Therapist. All staff are trained to the highest standards and CRB checks are compulsory for all the team members in the organisation.

Our team is always up to date on the latest health and safety issues. All our care workers will have either already attained or be in the process of attaining an NVQ II in Health and Social Care.

The carers that Core Prospects employ are trained and supervised and supported to ensure that they provide a quality of service. In so doing we observe recruitment policies and practices which both respect equal opportunities and protect service users’ safety and welfare.

Our team of Support workers have a varied skill mix in care and have all embarked on a NVQ course at different levels. Core Prospects is committed to providing ongoing training for it’s workforce.

Confidentiality

Our care staff are all bound by a code of conduct which includes preserving the confidentiality of any information that is divulge. We will not actively seek confidential information from you unless we feel that it is in your best interests, i.e to enable us to prepare a better care plan for you.

Where we do have such information, we would not disclose any of it to any unauthorised third party without your express permission, except in an emergency or crisis situation. When this happens we will always keep you informed of any discussions that have taken place and this will be recorded in your care records, which you may have access to at any time.

From time to time, vulnerable people may become a subject to neglect or the different forms of abuse by others. Our staff are trained to recognize the signs of abuse and we make it our responsibility to alert the local authority concerned to protect the person involved.
